1912 Foundation of Mori Sewing School for Girls, a private school (founder: Wasa Mori).
1918 Mori Sewing School for Girls is renamed Mori School for Girls.
1923 Establishment of Mori Girls' High School.
(which developed into the current Kobe Gakuin University High School)
1924 Mori Girls' High School is renamed Kobe Mori Girls' High School.
1945 Establishment of the Kobe Municipal Mori Girls' High School as a foundation.
1949 Foundation is renamed Kobe Mori Gakuen.
1951 Restructuring of Kobe Mori Gakuen into an educational foundation.
1952 Establishment of Kobe Mori Women's Junior College (First President: Toshie Yamanishi).
