授業の目的 ／Class Purpose	この科目は、ディプロマポリシーの「1.実践的で高度な外国語の運用ができる」、「3.言語の基礎にある多様な社会、文化、歴史、政治、経済などについて幅広い知識や教養を身に付けることができる」ことを目的としている。
到　達　目　標 ／Class Objectives	Students can explain the mechanism of the UN. Students can explain the history of the UN. Students can explain the policies of the UN.
授業のキーワード ／Keywords	UN
授業の進め方 ／Method of Instruction	Students may be asked questions during classes. Students may be asked to discuss in small groups. In the class, English and Japanese will be used. After each lecture, students must take a quiz using a Google form. There will be 2 lectures by an expert on human rights and a professor at Japan Coast Guard (former diplomat). The dates will be informed later.

授業時間外に必要な学修内容・時間 ／Required Work and Hours outside of the Class	Read the relevant pages of the textbook before (1 hour) and after (0.5 hour) you attend each class.
