The Major in International Relations and Law offers a variety of subjects such as international law, international trade law, and international political science. Students are trained to become high-level professionals such as specialists in law and political science, as well as tax accountants and civil servants.We train Certified Public Psychologists (a national qualification) who are specialists in psychology contributing to the mental health of the public.The Master's Program trains specialists to provide psychological support in a wide variety of fields, including health and medical care, welfare, education, and law. The Doctoral Program develops psychological support instructors equipped with the latest scientific knowledge and advanced skills.Students gain an understanding of the progress of medicine and medical technology, and the current status and future prospects of social systems, and are developed into highly-specialized professionals who can provide appropriate responses and support as leaders of organizations, as well as educators and researchers who will be responsible for the next generation. Research results are also announced to society and intellectual properties that can offer social contributions are created.The Graduate School of Nutrition aims to develop leaders for active roles in society by nurturing advanced abilities necessary for performing basic or practical scientific research in nutrition or medicine. Here, students improve abilities required for registered dietitians, medical technologists, nutrition teachers, etc. Students completing their courses go on to work as professionals in public organizations, hospitals, and private companies.The Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences develops high-level specialist professionals capable of responding to the progress in medicine and cultivates human resources who will act as the next generation of leaders in education and research in the field of clinical pharmacy. It also aims to produce human resources who can fulfill the mission of social service through clinical development and evaluation of medicines.Those who have completed a master’s program in nutrition, pharmacy, medical technology, or medicine can pursue further advanced research in health and medicine, and acquire cutting-edge knowledge and skills. When students complete this program and pass a thesis examination, they will earn either a Doctor of Nutrition or Doctor of Philosophy degree.Training specialists in law and political science to serve as leaders in our complex contemporary societyAiming to produce graduates possessing specialized knowledge in economics and business administration together with the practical skills needed in societyThe Major in Economics encompasses economic theory, economic policy, and other applied fields. The Major in Business Administration focuses on the theory of business administration while providing broad coverage of topics such as accounting and management science. Students are able to earn a portion of credits in other majors as well. Graduates have immediately put their skills to use in the business world and other professional career paths in positions including tax accountants.Interdisciplinary and innovative programs focused on the understanding of the fundamental nature of human beings and cultureThe Human Behavior Major consists of research fields such as education, philosophy, environmental science, anthropology, and sociology; the Local Culture Major consists of the fields of language, literature, art (including music and film), history, and geography. Through these studies, students gain a deep understanding of society and culture as well as creative thinking and technical expertise.
